Guest Posting is one of the Off-Page SEO checks. Authority earned outside the site. It is judged from what your site served at the time of the crawl, and a page we could not reach is reported as unreachable rather than skipped.

Why this one is listed but not a check

This is a workflow a person runs, not a property of your site that can be measured. Outreach and digital PR are work, and no crawl can tell you whether you did them well.

It sits in the catalogue because the category would look artificially complete without it. It will not become a check, because it is not one.

What runs instead

• The off-page signals a crawl can genuinely observe are reported today
• Unlinked brand mentions and the pages that already reference you are visible from a crawl, and those are the ones worth acting on
• Anything that depends on a licensed link graph is marked as needing paid data rather than quietly skipped
