Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Search Overflow, based in India. Using the free audit or a paid plan means you accept them.

What the service is

Search Overflow crawls websites and reports what it measured: whether a search engine can rank the pages, whether an AI answer engine can read and cite them, and how often AI engines mention a brand in sampled answers. It reports the checks it ran, and it names the checks it did not run.

What we promise about accuracy, and what we do not

We promise that every finding is derived from something we actually fetched or observed, that a check which did not run is reported as not evaluated rather than as a pass, and that any rate we publish carries its sample size and confidence interval.

We do not promise that acting on a finding will improve your rankings, your citations or your traffic. Search engines and AI engines change without notice and are outside our control. A tool that promised otherwise would be making the kind of claim this product exists to catch.

Acceptable use

• You may run the free audit against any publicly reachable website. The audit reads only robots.txt and the homepage, in the same way a crawler would.
• You may not use the service to overload, probe or attack a site, to evade a site’s access controls, or to collect personal data about individuals.
• For paid plans, you confirm you are authorised to audit and connect the sites and accounts you add to a workspace.

Plans, billing and cancellation

• Plans are priced per workspace and number of sites, as shown on the pricing page, in USD or INR. There are no prompt quotas or usage meters.
• Billing period, renewal, refund policy and how to cancel: to be confirmed. Until then, every account is set up by hand and these details are agreed in writing when onboarding.
• We may change prices with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Your content and our content

• You own the sites, content and data you bring. You grant us only the rights needed to crawl, analyse and report on them for you.
• We own the check catalogue, the engine and this site. You may quote findings and reports for your own or your clients’ use.

Liability

The free audit is provided as is. For paid plans, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim, except where the law does not allow that limit. Exact wording: to be confirmed with counsel.

Ending the agreement

You can close your workspace at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks the acceptable use rules, and we will say why.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Venue for disputes: to be confirmed. When these terms change, the date above changes and the changelog says what moved.
